Bring the BVA to Your Campus!
The BVA can work with your campus vegan, vegetarian, or animal rights group to help promote an animal-friendly ethic on campus. We offer many resources that can add value to your club’s experience:
- Educating the club. A guest speaker from the BVA is available to talk to your club about effective animal advocacy.
- School presentations, sponsored by the club. To reach a broader constituency and capitalize on increased interest in veganism, the BVA can provide a guest speaker who will provide a presentation on veganism to a larger group. Some schools do this for special events with attendance of 20-150 people, but your situation might allow for an audience comprising an entire school assembly. Depending on the size of and funding for this event, the presentation could be accompanied by food from an area vegan business, if allowed in the venue.
- Coordinating activities with the club. The BVA and the student organization could work together on campus or elsewhere to educate students about veganism while providing a great learning opportunity for club members, too.
- Providing vegan literature to the club. We offer free high-quality vegan nutrition guides, as well as vegan advocacy pamphlets that are available free to clubs who have been instructed on how to use them properly.
